Seasonal allergies can affect the quality of your sleep, and thus can lead to daytime drowsiness and reduced alertness. Having springtime allergies can also have impact your mood and relationships. Your best defense against allergies is a great offense, so you should be pro-active and work with an allergist to develop a simple "allergy action plan".

Some tips can help you to gain more effective control of your allergies, including reducing your level of stress. Yoga, meditation and daily exercise can get your endorphins flowing and perhaps increase your chance of better allergy control, when combined with appropriate OTC and prescription medications. You should also plan ahead, and follow weather and pollen forecasts when you expect to spend time outdoors. Pollen counts are often lower by the beach or a body of water like a lake or river.

Egg, milk, soybean , wheat, peanut, house dust mites and mold, ragweed (commonly seen in house gardens or parks), cats and dogs.
Half of patients did not show sensation towards least one of 11 common allergens.
Asthma patients are 20% more likely to get allergy.
President and General Manager of Phadia US, David Esposito said, "The data from report helps the organization to take health care initiatives and to treat patients better under allergy. I hope data is used in allergy testing and allergy treatment for asthma patients."

It's that time of the year; pollen is in the air, and you think its allergy that's given you that beastly headache, and you blame allergy for sinus pain and bouts of sneezing. Probably you are right and that medicine for allergy will make all your pain vanish in a day or two. But a number of people suffering from chronic sinusitis assume that its allergy, and end up taking medicines that just make their lives worse.
A survey by Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America found out that almost 9 out 10 people suffering from chronic sinusitis misdiagnose themselves and blame allergy for their woes. The foundation urges you not to play doctor, but go to a primary healthcare physician in case of severe allergy symptoms.
