Circassia’s Hay Fever Vaccine ToleroMune®, Found Effective Against Allergy Symptoms

Circassia Ltd. has reported positive results of its phase II clinical of the hay fever vaccine called ToleroMune®. The said vaccine has demonstrated reduced allergic symptoms in patients' eyes by up to 30% more than those taking placebo.

Also, the treatment improved early skin reactions by up to 54% and late skin reactions by up to 19% more than those on placebo. The treatment was apparently extremely well tolerated by the patients and reduced their allergic symptoms by up to 30%.

As opposed to traditional immunotherapies, Circassia's ToleroMune® technology offers the potential of an effective allergy treatments without the need for dose escalation or serious adverse reactions.
