Zyrtec-D, Available Without Prescription

Allergy drug allergy drug Zyrtec-D will now be available over-the-counter in the US, i.e., a doctor's permission is no longer required, for patients 12 years and older. However, as mandated by federal law limiting the sale of pseudoephedrine-containing medications, the pills will nevertheless be sold behind the counter.
Zyrtec-D (cetirizine) is used to treat symptoms of hay fever and to relieve sinus congestion and pressure.
