Xolair For Treating Allergic Asthma
Not all asthma stems from allergies, but those suffering from allergic asthma suffers just about the same symptoms such as wheezing and shortness of breath. The only difference is that allergic asthma si triggered by the inhaling allergens such as dust mites, pet dander, pollens, mold, etc., which subsequently results to swollen and inflamed lung passages.

Although the condition cannot be curedlinks, there are drugs which can control the symptoms, thereby allowing those with allergic asthma to lead a somewhat normal life. One such drug is Xolair. Dr. Dean Edell reports for ABC7 on this drug, featuring one patient who swears the drug worked wonders and helped improve her quality of life. To find out if your asthma is allergic you can take this quiz from the AAAAI or this one from Xolair. If the results indicate so, consult with your doctor.
