Gadgets and Tools Against Allergies

A great idea, but has anyone found jeans that are manufactured without metal in them?
I'm going to assume that the offending material here is nickel, and not metals in general, as nickel is the most common culprit for contact dermatitis due to metal exposure. Well, I've done a bit of digging, and all I found out was that Mel is not alone in looking for nickel-free jeans. I've found shops where you can get nickel-free belt buckles, but the closest solution I've got so that those with nickel allergies may be able to wear jeans is to replace the buttons and rivets with nickel-free ones. You can ask your tailor to alter your jeans, or custom-make one for you.
Other than that, I'm sorry. I'm surprised that there hasn't been an enterprising soul who has capitalized on this apparent demand in the market.

American Eagle products are all nickel-free. I called the company last year and they confirmed that their metal does not contain nickel.

I have an allergy to Nickel so I know how frustrating this is. I googled No Nickel and found noNickel.com and it is possible to buy packs of nickel free studs to replace the ones on the jeans we buy
I don't know if that will help, but I hope it does

Actually, Levi's has a no nickel buying policy for all of it's manufacturers! You can read their policy online at our site: http://www.nickelfreelife.com/nickel-allergy-tips.php.

I wonder what American Eagle uses for their rivets and buttons? I get a bad rash right under my belly button every time I wear my AE Jeans. I've even applied nail polish to the backs of the buttons, and it hasn't helped much. I now have to wear a band aid over the area whenever I wear those jeans. Those are the most comfortable jeans ever, so I have a hard time just getting rid of them.
