If your child suffers from asthma, here are two videos from EverydayKidz which might help:
Lungs at Work
What Happens During an asthma attack
Each video has two versions: one for kids and one for the parents. The videos for kids feature Plumi, the mascot who shows what happens to him when his lungs are healthy and during an asthma attack. The videos for the parents and caregivers make it all easy to understand, too. And we all know that understanding is the first step to overcoming our illnesses.
If your child has asthma, you may want to join the EverydayKidz Program for free and get a free interactive educational DVD, as well as access to the websites exclusive features such as fun craft projects and interactive games and activities to help your child learn more about asthma.
EverydayKidz is sposored by Astra Zeneca, manufacturer of Pulmicort Respules, an inhaled corticosteroid.
