The cleaner, aimed at consumers sensitive to dust, has a sensor that can detect dust as small as 20 micrometers, and it has an indicator that remains lit until such dust is fully vacuumed, the company said, adding that existing cleaners can detect an object of about 70 micrometers. The unit has a triple-layer dust bag.
The company will start selling the vacuum cleaners in Japan starting in May for about 65,000 yen (about $550).
