The last couple of weeks, I've been receiving emails regarding a previous entry on the use of Trichuris suis ova (TSO) therapy in treating food allergies. A few of you wrote to find out where one can avail of this preparation.

What I have been able to find out on the web is that apparently, this therapy is led by a German firm, Ovamed, and that the sales and distribution is handled by Biomonde Thailand Co. Ltd., which has received the official approval as a natural medicine by the Ministry of Health in Thailand and has been given m arketing authorization by the Food and Drug Administration of Thailand. Apparently, you can order online, but please read these import advice (pdf files) for Australia and the US before anything else.

Note, however, that I am not a doctor and have not done a thorough research on this treatment. I am NOT endorsing this therapy, and I would advice you NOT to self-administer without consultation with a medical professional.
