Trichuris suis Ova (TSO) - Where to Get?

The last couple of weeks, I've been receiving emails regarding a previous entry on the use of Trichuris suis ova (TSO) therapy in treating food allergies. A few of you wrote to find out where one can avail of this preparation.
What I have been able to find out on the web is that apparently, this therapy is led by a German firm, Ovamed, and that the sales and distribution is handled by Biomonde Thailand Co. Ltd., which has received the official approval as a natural medicine by the Ministry of Health in Thailand and has been given m arketing authorization by the Food and Drug Administration of Thailand. Apparently, you can order online, but please read these import advice (pdf files) for Australia and the US before anything else.
Note, however, that I am not a doctor and have not done a thorough research on this treatment. I am NOT endorsing this therapy, and I would advice you NOT to self-administer without consultation with a medical professional. Sought advice from a medical professional only to find you’re worse off than before? A Medical Negligence Claim could be on the cards...

I am the father of a 2 years old autistic boy ... I watched a video from a MD about positive results using helminth Trichuris TSO Trichusris suis ova. I want to try it. Where can I buy it? THANKS,

I went to the Biomonde website (OVAmed doesn't sell the therapy, they redirect to Biomonde as stated above).
The therapy in doses that are the same as the clinical trials (2500 ova/dose) costs right now around $11k USD per year! For most people with Crohn's, this is not very affordable.
For people that live in the USA, there is a company that offers a rebate program based on your income. You can find this link either on the Ovamed site, or the Biomonde site.

Hey David, check more closely, each shipment contains 10 doses, so you'd need 2.5 shipments/year, about $1100/year. Not so bad, I'm a student now, but maybe I'll try it when I get a job!
