Travel nursing, medical experience not needed for sore throat relief

You don't need to consult someone with travel nursing experience or anyone with any other medical background to find a remedy to combat the common sore throat.
I've been having bouts of nasal allergies on-and-off the last few weeks and while I've been able to control the allergy symptoms with a small dose of antihistamine, I'm often left with a hoarse voice and scratchy sore throat long after the sneezing bouts subside.
I've been looking for home remedies for sore throat, and guess what? I've come across an article with 20 alternatives to ginger for curing sore throat
. Most of them are benign enough, such as the salted water gargle, but I wonder whether these herbs are safe for nursing mothers?
