Teenage Girl Died of Anaphylactic Allergy to Toothpaste?
In the UK, a 19-year old girl died of anaphylaxis and her parents believe that it was an allergic reaction to toothpaste, Aquafresh Mild & Minty, in particular.

Mrs Sanna said: "I think that further tests have to be done to determine what happened to Francesca, but I am happy with the results from the inquest.

"From the beginning I thought that toothpaste might have contributed to her death. We always used Aquafresh Mild and Minty and then the packaging changed.

"This is when Francesca started to complain of sore teeth and gums a couple of weeks before she died.

According to the Daily Mail report, a spokesman for GlaxoSmithKline did admit that they have indeed received a few complaints of allergic reaction to the toothpaste, although the reported symptoms have been mild and localised nature.

A while back, Aquafresh also denied the rumors that Aquafresh use peanut oil in their formulation.
