Luckily, there are now so many resources available online. You can try my recommended links on the right column, for articles and educational materials put together by doctors, allergists, and other professionals.
But sometimes, you just want to hear from "normal" people... perhaps, parents or patients like you, right?
You can find such online support in KidsWithFoodAllergies, for example.
Kids With Food Allergies is a U.S.-based national tax-exempt nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for children with food allergies by providing recipes, news, tips, online parent-to-parent support, and practical resources for families.
They even have a shop and a directory of allergy-friendly businesses. Check it out. For a fee of $25 a year, you may even want to join their online community and "meet" other parents of children with food allergies, and exchange stories, tips and recipes. I can't say if it's worth it as I'm not a member. If you are, you're welocme to leave a comment below for the benefit of other Allergizer readers who may be interested.

I lead a support group in Oak Park, Illinois (Parents of Children Having Allergies - email oakparkpocha@earthlink.net). Perhaps this site could include lists of local support groups.
