Study to Understand Food Allergy
Researchers from the National Jewish Medical and Research Center are going to perform a nationwide study to understand food allergy in children. They hope that they will be able to collect data that will help explain why there are increasing cases of food allergies over the years. Also, using the data, they hope to be able to find indicators which children will develop allergies and who will likely outgrow them. Ultimately, --and what we all are awaiting for-- they hope to arrive at a possible cure or recommendations for prevention.

For this study, they need infants between the ages of 3 and 12 months who milk and/or egg allergy. The patients will be followed for 5 years. If you think your baby is eligible for the studylinks, and you would like to participate in this research, call William Allstetter at 303-398-1002, or email at allstetterw@njc.org for more information.
