© MiikaSStallergenes has announced positive results on a new phase IIb/III clinical trial on the efficacy of a sublingual immunotherapy tablet containing the recombinant allergen of this birch pollen, rBet v 1 in allergic rhinitis caused by this pollen. This study is the first ever to use a recombinant allergen as an active substance and possibly also the first in the world to use a recombinant protein in dry form.
