Spring Allergy Season Is Almost Here!

© bsabarnowlMarch 20 is the official first day of spring. After a nasty winter, it's finally time to go out, frolic outdoors and just enjoy the spring weather. Spring is the best time for picnics in the park and bbq parties in the front/back yard. The kids can then play ball or tag and just run around and burn off the energy stocked during the winter months. Suffice to say that being outside is way more fun than being cooped up indoors.
However, it could be a problem to those with spring allergies. For such people, spring means being bugged down by various allergies related to spring. Allergic rhinitis (also known as hay fever) is most common. Spring is the season that allergy sufferers start sniffling and sneezing mainly due to the pollen in the air brought about by trees, weeds and grasses.
Each year, 35 million Americans fall prey to seasonal allergic rhinitis. The common symptoms of spring allergies are runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing and itchy eyes.
Some people try to stay indoors. Others treat their symptoms with antihistamines, decongestant, nasal sprays and/or eye drops. Be sure to look for a non-drowsy option like Claritin® so you don't miss out on all the picnics, barbeques parties and other outdoor spring activities.
Each one of us has a story to tell. If you have allergies and have used Claritin, you can share your story for a chance to WIN $10,000 at LivingClear.com. In case you were wondering, you don't need to buy any product to enter the contest. See Official Rules.
Thanks to the makers of Claritin® for sponsoring this post at Allergizer.com! I'm excited to spread the word about their Living Clear contest this spring!
