How does it feel for an athlete to be Cursed by allergies? Uganda's Dorcus Inzikuru, the world's 3000m Steelechase number one, knows just too well.
"Allergy makes my body very weak and drains the body of oxygen supply. It makes training very difficult."
"The routes on which we were training in Iten were too dusty and this worsened the problem, such that when I went to Doha for the Super Grand Prix meeting, I was profusely bleeding from the nose," she said.
Allergies. Muscle injuries. A road accident. You'd think this woman would stop. But no, she just bagged the Commonwealth title in Melbourne earlier this year.
