Soy Formula as Alternative to Cow Milk

Many parents, upon discovering their baby's cow milk allergiesturn to soy-based formula as alternative. However, while this strategy might work for some, many kids who have cow's milk allergy are also allergic to soy milk. Aside from this, I personally have reservations on using soy-based milk, knowing soy's estrogenic effects and that it is being used in hormone replacement therapy for menopausal women.
