Filed in archive Gadgets and Tools Against Allergies , Living with Allergies on March 17, 2007
In partnership with the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA), Procter & Gamble is reminding the public of the most commonly overlooked allergen hot-spots right in the middle of our very homes.
While the most common indoor allergens are from pet dander, dust mites, and pollen from outdoors that settles on hard surfaces and fabrics around the house, such as bedding, carpeting, countertops and furniture, we often miss the allergens on the following smaller, hard to reach areas:
- Door Jams
- Window Sills
- plush toys
- Walls
- Closets and Drawers
Procter & Gamble (P&G) has joined AAFA in the fight against indoor allergens and is offering several tips in doing so.
According to Ross Holthouse, External Relations Manager at P&G:
"P&G is committed to consumer education and providing consumers with products that will improve their quality of life.
By using products like Swiffer Dusters and Febreze Allergen Reducer you will be armed with the tools you need to help reduce the allergens from cats, dogs, dust mites and pollen hiding in your home."
