Seasonal Allergies Throughout the Seasons?
Here on my part of the world, winter has been overly mild. Even in January, when it's supposed to be the peak of winter, the temperatures rarely went down to freezing points. It snowed a grand total of 3 times since winter officially arrived in December. As I look outside, some of the branches are starting to grow buds, and the ground is already sprouting early blooms. Obviously spring is just around the corner.

And so, people with seasonallinks allergies are encouraged to get ready. Those who were wise enough started would have started with their immunotherapy shots already, including those preferring the honey-method. But then it makes me think whether the term "seasonal" is really still appropriate given the weird weather we're having over the last year-- rainy and cool summers followed by mild and relatively warm winters. If such climate changes are really here to stay, we might have to coin a new word to refer to "seasonal" allergies!
