It's healthy and a good source of omega-6 essential fatty acids (EFA's) and omega-9 fatty acids, compounds which have been documented to be important for brain development and cardiovascular health. You can even try using it for making brownies, smoothies, pesto, or veggie burgers. That opens up a whole variety of possibilities and have the nutty taste, but without the allergen-triggering nut!
Even if your child(ren) do not have peanut allergies, it's a healthy and considerate alternative. Peanuts and peanut butter are the most common food items causing food allergy incidents in schools. It's a very serious condition and can be life threatening. If we can keep schools and public places peanut-free, that would already be a great help in making these places safe for those who have peanut allergies.
Note: This is not a sponsored post. Omega nutrition did not pay me to write this entry.

That sounds yummy! I'll definitely see if the stores here carry it! Here via Carnival of Family Life.

seriously? am not sure. perhaps, because that should be due to the oils. but for someone with allergies, using peanut butter is not an option.

It is a lot more healthy than Peanut Butter but how to convince people to choose this ? Once a person is used eating something it's quite hard to change his preferences.
