Product Recall: Kumasi Sambirano Dark Chocolate Bars

Artisan Confections has voluntarily recalled its Scharffen Berger Kumasi Sambirano 68 percent Cacao Pure Dark Chocolate bars because of undeclared milk ingredient which could be harmful to people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk.

The 3 ounce bars are wrapped in distinctive green packaging and were sold over the Internet and through specialty retail outlets nationwide from March 2006 to June 2007. All lot numbers of the item are covered by the recall. This was a limited-edition item that is no longer in production.
