Product Alert: Vita Specialty Foods, Inc.'s SaucesVita Specialty Foods, Inc. is voluntarily recalling the following products because their labels do not disclose that the products contain a flavor ingredient derived from milk. If you have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk, take note of these sauces:

  • Scorned Woman Wicked Wing Sauce, 18 oz.,
    Best Before Date: 5/04/07 - 1/18/08

  • Jim Beam Hot Wing Sauce, 5 oz.
    Best Before Date: 4/17/07 - 11/7/07

  • Jim Beam Hot Wing Sauce, 13 oz.
    Best Before Date: 1/26/07 - 12/19/07

  • Jim Beam Gourmet Foods Hot Wing Sauce, 1 gal.
    Best Before Date: 10/25/07

  • IU hoosiers Varsity Wing Sauce, 12 oz.
    Best Before Date:1/10/07 - 7/26/07

  • Virginia Tech Hot Wing Sauce, 12 oz.
    Best Before Date: 1/10/07 - 7/26/07

  • Budweiser Barbecue Sauce, 19 oz., 77 oz, 1 gal, 5 gal.
    Best Before Date: All date codes through 6/11/08

  • Budweiser Basting Sauce, 14 oz., 71 oz., 1 gal, 5 gal.
    Best Before Date: All date codes through 12/19/07



These products were distributed nationwide in retail stores except for the Virginia Tech Hot Wing Sauce and the IU Hoosiers Varsity Wing Sauce that were distributed in Virginia and Indiana, respectively. If you have purchased these products and have milk sensitivities, do not consume; contact Vita Specialty Foods, Inc. at 1-800-974-4778 for a refund.
