Product Alert: Super Surprise Candy Bags Contain Tree Nuts

Chocolate products included in the contents of super surprise candy bags contain undeclared tree nuts, warns the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and G. Woudenberg Wholesale Ltd. who manufactured the products.
The affected super surprise candy products are packaged in white paper or plastic bags bearing the distributor name G. Woudenberg Wholesale Ltd., Dundas, Ont. The affected super surprise candy bags may contain various brands of unlabelled chocolate bars which are wrapped only in foil without any ingredient listing.
The distributor, G. Woudenberg Wholesales Ltd, Dundas, ON is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace which have been distributed in the Hamilton, Brantford, Burlington and Niagara areas in Ontario.
The said products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to tree nuts.
