Preventing Allergies in Your Next Child
I have been leafing through my copy of The Parent's Guide to Food Allergies, compliments of Wego Health, and most of the content I've bene through are really nothing new to me. That's not to say the book isn't good; in fact, it is very comprehensive, and is written in a conversational tone so it's really easy to digest. I wish I had the book back when I was still struggling to make sense of my son's multiple food allergies.

What struck me though is that chapter on Preventing Allergies in Your Next child. What I think I haven't announced here on this blog is that we are expecting my second child early next year. Naturally, I am wrought with worries and am keeping my fingers crossed that this one won't have the same food sensitivities as my first child. I am and will be doing all that they say can help reduce the risks of a child developing allergies later in life. Basically, the precautionary measures asks one to proceed as if the child indeed has allergies already and reduce exposure to potential triggers.

I just hope genetics isn't against me.
