Plane Sheets for the Traveller with Food Allergies
Filed in archive Food Allergies , Gadgets and Tools Against Allergies on February 18, 2008
Have allergies, will travel? You might want to bring personal airline seat covers with you. Considering that there often isn't enough time between flights to thoroughly clean airline seats, you never know what the previous passenger has been eating or spilling on exactly the same space you'll be occupying during your flight. Bringing your own seat cover at least provides a barrier between you and those crumbs and spills that might be left on the seat by the previous occupier. Crumbs and spills which may harbor offending ingredients you are allergic to (peanuts, for example is commonly served as a snack during flights).
