Onion Extract Against Allergies

© Darwin BellA recently published study touts the powers of onions in helping warding off allergies. In the animal study, researchers showed that onion extracts helped suppress edema (swelling due to fluid accumulation) resulting from an allergic reaction to carrageenan by inhibiting histamine release.
