Obamas Search for a Hypoallergenic Dog
So the Obamas are looking for a hypoallergenic dog to bring to the White House that won't trigger the President's daughter's dog allergies. Wel,, that's going to be a tough order. According to experts, "there's not a 100 percent allergy-free furry animal in the world."

There are possible options, though.
Medical experts recommend considering breeds that produce low dander such as poodles or terriers. The American Kennel Club also lists hairless dogs, including Chinese Crested and xoloitzcuintlis, as possible options for families with allergies.

The First Daughter has opted for a goldendoodle (a golden retriever-poodle mix), though. If the puppy grows up to have a poodle-like coat, then it might work out. If you have dog allergies, too, these are the options you might want to consider, too!
