No Peanuts on Trains
Following a complaint, Australia's XPT trains will be scrapping peanut-containing dishes from their menus. Effective immediately, they will no longer be serving satay lamb, as well as a type of cake and a snack that contain peanuts on board.

It's encouraging to see that public transport industry are taking food allergies into consideration. Not only trains; airplanes are also starting to make changes in their menus. I doubt that many will miss speanuts aboard trains or planes, but such small steps can mean so much for people with food allergies.

Read the full story here. Let's hope we see more of these in public transport elsewhere, too!
