www.MyAllergyNetwork.com and
My Asthma Central.
The (websites) are designed to leverage the wisdom and experience of asthma and allergy sufferers to help others coping with similar challenges. Building on a base of comprehensive medical information to inform and manage asthma, the new site seeks foremost to connect the asthma community through the voice of others who have been there.
I browsed the websites briefly and there's hefty collection of articles on archive. But the most attractive feature is the "Community" area with a message board (in the allergy website) where patients can connect to and share experiences with fellow patients. There's not a lot going on there, but I hope it'll pick up momentum soon. It also has a list of blogs tackling allergies (I hope they include Allergizer, too!) and the asthma website has a list of support groups.
Check them out!
