Miss Roben's Allergy Grocer
Filed in archive Food Allergies , Gadgets and Tools Against Allergies on January 19, 2007
Shopping for allergen-free products in your regular supermarket can be time-consuming, not to mention frustrating. It's difficult to find the products and ingredients you need, or if you, do, you'll have to squint and read the ingredients list very carefully.
Here's an online store which I'm sure will be useful for you: the AllergyGrocer. Baking stuff, beverages, snack bars, soups, mixes and quick meals... including hypoallergenic soaps and shampoos! You'll find a number of options there. What I like best is the web site's search-according-to-allergy function. Just tick which items you are allergic to, and you can call up a list of products that do not contain those ingredients. Cool, eh? I also noticed that they sell on retail, unlike other stores where you have to buy in bulk.
Hop over and browse online, or if you have a pdf reader, you can download their fall catalog (I expect they update this every season). Or you can request for a print catalog, too.

I love allergy grocer. I have gotten some great products there that I can't find anywhere else. They also have excellent customer service and their catalog also lists any known possible cross contamination issues there may be associated with the product. Great company.

I love Miss Roben's. All of the mixes are gluten free, some are even corn free. Plus, they are affordable and easy to make. I'm not a good cook and even I can make them. AllergyGrocer.com has the best Miss Roben's selection of any site I've found.
