If you're one of the millions in the north hemisphere who suffer from autumn allergies, WebMD offers four ways to better manage your allergy symptoms.

1. Know your allergy triggers - Are you allergic to pollens? Which? Or mold spores? As the prevalence of these allergens often depend on the weather, knowing which substances trigger your allergy symptoms allows you to predict how the weather will influence the gravity of your symptoms.
2. Learn Do-It-Yourself Measures - The only escape is to avoid allergies is to avoid exposure. Check out the 7 simple tips from WebMD on how to minimize your exposure to allergens.
3. Get Proper Treatment - Do not self-medicate. Consult an allergist to find out exactly what you're allergic to and what medications are best for you.
4. Beware of Foods That Trigger Your Symptoms - Some foods can trigger symptoms in people with pollen allergies, called oral-allergy syndrome. The offending food will depend on which pollen you're allergic to.
