Hypoallergenic Flooring to Reduce Indoor Allergies
How allergy-friendly have you made your dwellings? Beddings, curtains, carpets, toys, aircon filters, dehumidifiers... these are just some of the places where allergy-causing dust mites and molds may accumulate. In addition, the type of flooring you have in your home can also have a big impact on your indoor allergies.

There is a variety of materials for floors suitable for people with allergies triggered by dust mites, mold spores or pollens. Hard surface flooring is considered to be ideal for people who suffer from allergies because they are easier to clean. Other good options are ceramic tiles and linoleum. Cork and wood floors are also considered allergy-friendly, although personally, I'm not a fan of cork flooring and wood can be quite expensive.
