FSA Publishes Food Allergy Guides for Restaurants

In the UK, the Foods Standards Agency has published guides to help food retailers such as restaurants, cafes, bakeries, delicatessen counters, salad bars and caterers on how to provide customers information on the allergen content of the foods they sell. The booklets are mere guides, purely voluntary, as such establishments are currently not legally required to say whether their products contain potential allergens.
