Food Allergy Friendly Treats from HomeFree
With the rise in the number of individuals with food allergies, the market of products catering to this group is also expanding. Thank goodness!

Here's another snack option for those with multiple food allergies: Home Free treats.

HomeFree cookies are:

· Certified organic
· Certified whole grain - each cookie serving contains at least ½ serving of whole grains
· Without trans fat or cholesterol
· Free of peanuts, tree nuts, eggs and dairy
· Fine for most people allergic to wheat (not gluten-free; contain oats)
· Fine for most people allergic to soy (most contain soy lecithin)
· Baked and packaged in a dedicated bakery
· Allergen tested
· Without corn sweeteners, artificial colors, artificial flavors, MSG, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs)
· Certified vegan (oatmeal cookies, and coffee cakes)
· Certified kosher pareve

So not only are they allergy-friendly, they are healthy and organic, too! I haven't tried them myself but if you're keen to try, you can buy HomeFree cookies, coffee cakes and specialized allergen-tested baking ingredients through the company's website. The cookies are available at more than 200 retail locations nationwide including select Whole Foods and Shaw's stores (throughout New England), as well as at a growing number of institutions such as schools, camps, and sporting venues.
