FDA Approves Xyzal Antihistamine
Filed in archive Allergy Medications , Hay Fever , Skin Allergies on June 5, 2007
FDA has approved a new once-daily prescription antihistamine to treat seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and chronic idiopathic urticaria, a type of itchy rash similar to nettle rash, but with no apparent cause. Xyzal tablets are non-sedating and are expected to be available right in time for the 2007 fall allergy season.
Go and see your allergist and find out if this is a suitable medication for you.
