FDA Approves Akorn's Generic Ketotifen Fumarate Ophthalmic Solution, 0.025%

The USFDA has recently approved the OTC use of Akorn's Ketotifen Fumarate Ophthalmic Solution, 0.025% - the generic version of Novartis' Zaditorâ„¢Ophthalmic Solution 0.025%.
Zaditorâ„¢ Ophthalmic Solution 0.025% (recently granted OTC status by the FDA and Akorn will market this drug product on an OTC basis) is indicated for up to 12 hours of temporary relief of itchy eyes due to pollen, ragweed, grass, animal hair and dander.
