Drinking Milk During Pregnancy
Filed in archive Living with Allergies on April 26, 2006
Some mothers-to-be refrain from drinking milk during pregnancy because of the belief that it will make their babies more likely to develop allergies later on. Whether that is true or not is still a subject of controversy.
But pregnant women who skip milk should realize that they could be harming the development of the babies in their wombs. If the'd rather skip milk, then it would be better to compensate with other nutritious meals and/or taking dietary supplements, particularly calcium.
