Those who suffer from hay fever or pollen allergies get a reprieve during winter. With virtually no pollens floating in the air, people are likely to have less allergy bouts.

However, winter has its own set of allergy triggers, too. If you are allergic to pet dander, you may suffer more since pets spend comparatively more time indoors.

And the number one allergy foe during winter? Molds! You'll find them in decaying leaves and yard rubbish, damp shoes and coats, and damp cut wood. Suffering from winter allergies? Here are some tips to manage or prevent your allergies, winter and all year long.
