While some people are deathly allergic to wasps, bees, hornets, and the like, there are those who actively seek them.
Cook is collecting certain hornets, wasps and yellow jackets - species known as vespids - to send to Vespa Labs in Spring Mills, Pa., which extracts venom and uses it to treat those who are allergic to bees.
