AAFA is partnering with the international research organization Allergy Standards Limited (ASL) to conduct the asthma friendly ® Program -- the first program of its kind in the U.S. to write, publish and apply product standards for a wide variety of "asthma friendly" consumer prouducts.

If an item bears this seal of approval, you can be assured that the item has been screened and approved by experts to be safe and suitable for for people with asthma and allergies. See my previous entry on certified asthma-friendly® toys, for example.
