Binky Goes Nuts: Learning About Peanut Allergies
Filed in archive Food Allergies , Living with Allergies on May 18, 2006
Still in connection with the Food Allergy Awareness Week: if you haven't caught Binky and Arthur on PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) yet, here's how you can help increase awareness about food allergies, particularly to Nuts, among schoolchildren.
All you have to do is download (you'll need an Adobe Reader) and print these and distribute them to the kids at school or to your kids' playmates:
- Binky Goes Nuts Activity Unit (1.6MB)
- Binky Goes Nuts Activity Placemat/Front (360K)
- Binky Goes Nuts Activity Placemat/Back (916K)
These materials, courtesy of PBS Kids, can help children learn how they can make their school a safe and healthy place for classmates who have peanut or other food allergies. And have fun at the same time!
