Are Your "Colds" Seasonal?
Remember my entry about discovering your allergies by accident? Well, it doesn't apply just to food allergies. For some people, it takes years for something to happen for them to realize that..."Wait a minute, this could be an allergy!" Not exactly by accident, more like a happenstance, or some sort of delayed realization.
Spring 2006 rolled around. So did fall of 2006, spring of 2007 and now, here we are in fall of 2007 and a shocking pattern has emerged. I have been sick in each and every one of those seasons with the same "virus".

A close friend who to travels to the Denver area each late August commented, "You have had the exact same sickness the past three Augusts I have been here. You sure you don't have allergies? Ragweed is terrible this year."

Hmmmmmm. The obvious slid into focus.

Sounds familiar? Take a pause and think back to the last few years. Is there some kind of pattern, or seasonality to your "colds"? If you answered yes, you might want to tell your doc. If you have seasonal allergies, you need the right medication to manage your allergy symptoms.
