Filed in archive Food Allergies , Living with Allergies on January 24, 2007
According to Stolen Lives 3, a new report released by Allergy UK, although only 2% of the population suffer from food allergies, almost half of the British population develop digestive problems, migraines and skin complaints because of food sensitivities. Among the most common intolerances were to dairy products and to wheat/gluten.
The report also discusses how patients with real problems are dismissed or unattended, and people with real problems are not getting the medical help they need due to lack of trained health givers.
