Halloween is just a couple of weeks away. Have you prepared your allergy-safe goodies for the trick-or-treaters?

Allergy-Safe Halloween

If you're running out of ideas what to put into the kids' treat pails, check out Allergy Mom's list of 99 treats for kids with food allergies. Take note of her emphasis, though that you still should check the ingredients list on the package just to be absolutely sure that they're safe.
You need to check and read EVERY ingredient wrapper. You need to know that small size and Halloween sizes often have different ingredients. For example: small Laffy Taffy has no egg, Large Laffy Taffy does have egg.

You should also know that different versions of the same product have different ingredients. For example: Regular Spree, no egg; Chewy Spree DOES contain egg.

Not included in that list is the ProBug Kefir Drink I wrote about last year. And while you're at it, you also might want to stay clear of rubber masks, balloons and other goodies made of natural rubber, in case there are trick-of-treaters with latex allergies. Here are some more tips for a safe and allergy-free Halloween
