Allergy Relief From HALLS and Other Tips

© sinksanctityDo you know that HALLS, the most popular cough drop on the market, can also help allergy sufferers? That's according to real HALLS users. I haven't tried it myself. Have you?
Also, here are a few more suggestions to help ease your seasonal allergy symptoms:
Complement with HALLS - While you're waiting for your allergy medication to kick in, pop a great-tasting HALLS® drop -- the perfect complement to any allergy regimen. Within 10 seconds of consumption, HALLS starts to soothe allergy-related sore throats and irritating coughs, and can even help cool nasal passages. HALLS products are available at all major mass merchandisers, grocery stores and drug stores year-round.
Drink more water - Consuming water helps to thin mucous secretions and hydrate mucous membrane tissues.
Load up on anti-inflammatory foods - Adding foods that are high in alpha-linolenic acid and omega-3's (like flaxseeds, walnuts and ginger) can help stop inflammation in nasal passages.
Change your clothes - During allergy season, inhaled irritants like pollen, grass and trees can trigger irritating coughs and scratchy, sore throats. But that pollen can also get trapped in clothing and hair. Extra washing may help alleviate some symptoms.
Be consistent with your treatment - When using antihistamines to alleviate allergy symptoms, be sure to use them (as recommended) for the duration of allergy season, as they are more effective when taken consistently.
So how are you dealing with seasonal allergy?
