A Canadian Labradoodle for the Obamas?
Filed in archive Pet Allergies on February 2, 2009
I thought that by now the first family would have already found THE dog for the First Daughter who has pet dander allergies. Apparently not.
On his first state visit, President Obama might just get a labradoodle as a gift from the Canadian government.
The pup is a labradoodle (pic) from a shelter in Winnipeg.
One thing is for sure, though:
What kind of dog the Obamas will ultimately choose has drawn enormous public interest, and seems likely to spark a bump in popularity for whatever breed the first family ultimately settles upon.
Especially for those with dog allergies.
