Schering-Plough is giving away annual scholarships amounting to $5,000 each to 10 high school seniors with asthma who intend to pursue higher education. All high school seniors with asthma who will graduate in the 2009 school year and hold a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale are eligible. Applications are now being accepted and the deadline to apply is April 30, 2009.

- Performing arts (dance, music, theater)
- Visual arts (painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, film)
- Community service
- Athletics
- Science

Will there be another scholarship being given out for the high school graduates with asthma for graduates of 2010?
